Sengupta will be responsible to drive SAP's growth strategy and operations in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, the company said.
SAP is a German multinational software corporation that makes enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations.
Based in New Delhi, Deb Deep Sengupta will report to Adaire Fox-Martin, President of SAP Asia Pacific Japan, it said in a release.
"As India gears itself up as a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy in a hyper connected era, SAP remains ever relevant to support the transformation of Digital India," said Fox-Martin.
