Saria weakens on fall in offtake

In thin trading, saria turned weak and prices fell by Rs 200 per tonne at the steel market in the national capital today due to reduced offtake by stockists amid fall in demand from the construction units.
Movements in other steels remained restricted in the absence of any worthwhile activity.
In the saria segment, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm, 12-mm and 16-25mm traded Rs 200 each lower at Rs 35,900, Rs 34,100, Rs 33,500 and Rs 33,500 per tonne, respectively.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 36,100, 10-mm Rs 34,300, 12-mm Rs 33,700, 16-25 mm Rs 33,700.
MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.
Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40x6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600. Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000.
