"This development marks Sarovar's presence in the five countries in Africa including Tanzania, Kenya, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Zambia," Sarovar Hotels Pvt Ltd said in a statement.
The hotel is being developed by Zambia-based Neelkanth Group. The hotel is expected to open in 2018. It added.
The company, however, did not provide any financial details of the pact with Neelkanth Group.
Upon completion, the hotel will be an 82 key all-suite property, Sarovar Hotels said.
