Jose Polackal, industry leader for Government and Education Process, IBM, Bengaluru, highlighted the need for integrating the functions of various government agencies to successfully implement smart city projects.
Simon Selvaraj, Assistant Director, JLL Property, consultant for Tiruchi Smart City Project, explained the various stages of the project.
Private investment would be attracted to support government funding, he added.
