At stumps, Jogiyani was not out on 114 (288b, 15X4) and giving him company at the other end was Jaydev Shah on 16 at the Saurashtra Cricket Association stadium at Khandheri.
Electing to bat, Saurashtra openers -- Jogiyani and veteran Sitanshu Kotak -- gave the hosts an ideal start by putting on a solid 136-run stand for the opening wicket.
Kotak, who was dismissed for 65 off 185 balls with the help of six fours, today completed 8,000 first class runs and became the first player from Saurashtra to reach the milestone.
He, however, added valuable 72 runs with Jogiyani for the second wicket.
Jogiyani faced 243 balls to reach the three digit mark.
For Rajasthan, Aristha Singhavi was the only successful bowler, who took both the wickets by giving away 45 runs.
Brief Scores:
Saurashtra 1st innings: 226 for two in 93 overs (Sagar Jogiyani batting 114, Sitanshu Kotak 65; Aristha Singhavi 2/45).
