The maximum temperature was recorded at 36.5 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled at 27.9 degrees Celsius, both of which are normal for this time of the year, said a MeT department official.
The Safdarjung observatory, figure of which is considered the official reading for the city, recorded traces of rainfall between 8.30 AM and 5.30 PM while Lodhi road received 1.1 mm rainfall during the same period.
The humidity level oscillated between 89 and 58 per cent.
"The skies will be partly cloudy. There is likelihood of rain accompanied by thunderstorm for tomorrow in many areas.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle at around 34 and 27 degrees Celsius," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 32.4 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 24.8 degrees Celsius.
