The headmaster, Sathyaraj, allegedly used to tell her to marry him or otherwise he would commit suicide.
After the District Educational Officer (DEO) inquired into the matter, Chief Educational Officer Gnanagowri ordered that the headmaster be suspended, the officials said.
The suspension order was served on him through the DEO last evening, they added.
