Ravi committed suicide yesterday by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in a classroom of Government Senior Secondary School in Rohrai, of which he was a student, about 15 km from here.
His body was recovered this morning by the police, along with a suicide note that was pasted on the wall.
The suicide note stated that he was committing suicide because of the threat given to him by a teacher of the school, that she would "finish" him. Ravi allegedly took the extreme step after the school hours.
After the postmortem examination that was conducted at the civil hospital here today, the body of the boy was handed over to the family.
