Referring to CBI probe into death of an IAS officer in Karnataka, Scindia said that while the Congress government was quick in doing so, BJP is skirting away from a central agency probe.
"Congress government has immediately cleared way for CBI probe into the IAS's officer death. But, the state government is skirting away from a central agency inquiry into the MPPEB scam which is a big racket. Investigations (in the scam) have yet not barred the viels of the racket," Scindia told reporters here.
To a poser on the sabbatical of Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, Scindia defended him and argued that even Prime Minister Narendra Modi often moves out of the country.
"Even if Modi is in India, he doesn't come to Parliament. He remains abroad often for small matters," he added.
He said Rahul was just an MP and if he remains out of India, why questions are being raised.
