Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), which is an apex body of PSUs, today announced the names of awardees of 'SCOPE Meritorious Awards' in specialised fields.
Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) bagged the award for environmental excellence & sustainable development; while Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) took home the award for best corporate governance practices.
The award for best human resource management practices went to Bharat Electronics Limited while Power Finance Corporation emerged winner in the best managed bank or financial institution company category.
The awards Jury was chaired by Justice R C Lahoti, former Chief Justice of India and the awards were presented by SCOPE Director General U D Choubey.
