A resolution to this effect was moved in the general meeting of SDMC and it was unanimously approved.
"All such employees will be regularised and everyone will get an opportunity of regularisation. The safai karmcharis will be regularised on the basis of their seniority and serial number," an SDMC statement quoted South Delhi Mayor Shyam Sharma as saying.
SDMC has also decided to redeploy casual teachers who had been working on assignment from 2011-2014. These teachers were removed a few months ago.
He has asked the education department to take immediate action in this regard so that no post remains vacant.
