The deceased identified as Mahavir (48) was found lying in a pool of blood when the factory workers came to the unit this morning, according to police.
Mahavir had joined the tile factory around three months back as a security guard.
Prima facie it appears that some persons gained entry into the factory last night and assaulted the guard with iron rods, police said.
A case has been registered at Dankaur police station against unidentified persons.
