The deceased Ramkumar, a resident of Riwadi area was working as security guard for the past 20 years in Charmwood Village and his shift was from 4 PM to 12 AM near the Eros villas on Surajkund-Prahladpur road, a police spokesperson said.
According to a complaint filed by another security guard Omprakash, a resident of Bamnikheda who was working along the victim for 15 years, found Ramkumar injured on his head and lying in a pool of blood late last night, police said.
A case has been registered in this matter and the body has been sent for post mortem, they added.
In another incident, some motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched gold chains from two women in separate areas of the district yesterday. Police has lodged complaints in both the cases.
