Security tightened in UP for Ram Navami processions

Security has been stepped up across the Uttar Pradesh in view of the Ram Navami processions scheduled to be taken out on April 18 and 19, official sources said.
Adequate security arrangements have been made for maintaining peace and order during the Ram Navami processions to be taken out in different parts of the state on April 18 and 19, a Home Department spokesman said.
Additional force including PAC and RAF is being deployed in some of the districts, the spokesman said.
The districts where additional force is being deployed are Meerut, Bareilly, Moradabad, Kanpur, Aligarh, Lucknow , Faizabad, Allahabad, Varanasi and Mau, the spokesman added.
