Select base metal drops on lower demand

Select base metals including copper, brass utensils scrap, zinc and lead dropped further at the non-ferrous metals market here today on stockists selling amid lower demand from industrial users.
Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar slid by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 395 and Rs 423 from Wednesday's close of Rs 400 and Rs 428.
Copper scrap heavy prices moved down by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 390 from Rs 394 yesterday.
Copper armature, copper utensils, copper sheet cuttings and zinc edged down by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 385, Rs 362, Rs 382 and Rs 213 as compared to Rs 388, Rs 365, Rs 385 and Rs 216, respectively.
Brass utensils scrap and lead softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 312 and Rs 157.
