Select base metals maintain mixed trend

Select base metals including copper, brass, zinc, lead and tin maintained mixed trend owing to alternate bouts of buying and selling at the non-ferrous metals market here today.
Tin gained further by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,375 from Wednesday's close of Rs 1,370.
Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar edged up by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 393 and Rs 421 as against Rs 390 and Rs 418 yesterday.
Copper utensils scrap inched up to Rs 352 per kg.
However, brass sheet cuttings moved down by Rs 6 per kg to Rs 299 as compared Rs 305 yesterday.
Copper armature, zinc and lead softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 377, Rs 204 and Rs 152, respectively.
