Traders said besides increased demand from consuming industries, reports of a firming global trend mainly influenced select base metal prices.
In the national capital, Aluminium ingots, sheet cutting, wire scrap and utensils scrap were enquired higher by Rs 2 each at Rs 164, Rs 165, Rs 167 and Rs 164 per kg respectively.
Copper mixed scrap and nickel (4x4) also gained Rs 2 and Rs 3 to Rs 432 and Rs 1,094-1,100 per kg respectively.

Lead ingot 109, Lead imported 107, Aluminium ingots 164, Aluminium sheet cutting 165, Aluminium wire scrap 167 and Aluminium utensils scrap 164.
