Select centres freight rate drop on excess position of trucks

Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section to Kolkata, Hyderabad and Vijaywada dropped by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following restricted cargo movements against sufficent trucks position.
Transporters said rstricted cargo movements against easy availability of trucks, largely pulled down some of freight rates.
National Capital to Hyderabad, Kolkata and Vijaywada freight rates were down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 53,000, Rs 28,000 and Rs 55,000.
Rates to Patna also went down by Rs 1000 at Rs 26,000.
