Select copra firms up on good demand; ginger, pepper gain

Copra office Alapuzha, copra Kozhikode and copra edible prices firmed up at the spices market here today due to sustained demand from stockists and retailers amidst higher millers offtake.
Elsewhere, black pepper and ginger gained on robust demand from exporters and upcountry advices.
Copra Rajapur ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Copra edible surged by Rs 300 per quintal to Rs 10,600 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 10,300.
Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode climbed by Rs 200 per quintal each to Rs 9,400 and Rs 9,300 as against Rs 9,200 and Rs 9,100, respectively.
