Select copra prices drop on reduced demand

Copra Rajapur prices dropped at the spices market here today due to sluggish demand from stockist and exporters amidst adequate stock positions.
Elsewhere, copra office Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode both fell owing to subdued offtake by millers.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai declined by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,000 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 6,100.
Copra office Alapuzha moved down by Rs 75 per quintal to Rs 4,600 from Rs 4,675 and Copra office Kozhikode also went down by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 4,525 as against Rs 4,575 yesterday.

Black pepper (per kg) 385/420 (385/420), ginger bleached (per kg) 140 (140), ginger unbleached (per kg) 150 (150), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 4,600 (4,675), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 4,525 (4,575), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 6,000 (6,100) Copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 5,650 (5,650).
