Traders said reduced offtake by stockists in contrast to subdued demand from retailers, against higher supplies, mainly led to decline in select edible oil prices.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) oil fell by Rs 100 to Rs 6,600, while palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils traded lower by Rs 100 and Rs 50, Rs 6,200 and Rs 6000, per quintal respectively. Crude palm oil (ex-kandla) also moved down by Rs 100 to Rs 5,550 per quintal.
