Traders said besides easing demand from retailers, ample stocks position mainly kept pressure on gram and a few other pulses prices.
However, trading activity remained thin on the back of crash crunch following the government banning Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes, they said.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality remained under selling pressure and lost another Rs 200 each to Rs 9,300-9,800, Rs 10,100-10,400 and Rs 10,500-10,600 per quintal, respectively.
Arhar and its dal dara variety also declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,200 and Rs 8,100-9,900 per quintal, respectively.
Urad and its dal chilka too drifted down by Rs 200 each to Rs 7,000-8,000 and Rs 7,300-7,400 per quintal. Its dal best quality and dhoya followed suit and enquired lower by the same margin to Rs 74,00-7,900 and Rs 7,800-8,100 per quintal.

Gram Rs 9,300-9,800, Gram dal (local) Rs 10,100-10,400, best quality Rs 10,500-10,600, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 4,500, Rajdhani Rs 4,500, Rajma Chitra Rs 6,500-9,000, Kabuli Gram small Rs 9,800-10,200, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,400-5,600, Peas white Rs 2,900-2,925 and green Rs 3,100-3,200.
