Senior auditor caught red handed while accepting bribe

A senior auditor, Vishnu Kumre, working in the audit department of Buldana was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a complainant Manoj Kale, an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) official said here today.
He was caught red handed accepting Rs 10,000 as a bribe in room number 102 of Sai Hotel at Sangrampur in Buldana district on July 31, the ACB official said.
The accused had reached Sangrampur to audit work worth Rs 30 lakh completed under various schemes during 2013-14 and 2014-15, the ACB official said.
However, the corrupt official demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 to clear the audit of the expenditure.

Kale complained to ACB which arrested the accused, the ACB official said.
