Organised by the East Coast Railway in coordination with Railway Sports Promotion Board, the tournament would see Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Tripura and Railways play 10 matches at the Railway Stadium in Round Robin League format.
The inaugural match will be played between Tamil Nadu and Delhi.
The grass turf of the stadium has been re-laid by East Coast Railway Sports Association which held a preparatory meeting here today.
The organisers hope that the matches would draw good crowd as a number of stars in Indian women cricket team like Mithali Raj, Anaga Deshpande and Ekta Bisht (all Railways players) would be seen in action.
