He was interacting with laboratory technicians during a blood donation camp organised by them at the Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantonment.
On their demand to amend the law on verification of their investigation report by a doctor, he said the government is actively considering to amend the existing Act in this regard.
"The Act of the Maharashtra Government is being studiedfor the purpose," he said.
He said the lab technicians' contribution is important in the medical system and the government is committed to find an amicable solution to their problems.
Hailing the donors, Vij said, "Blood donation gives a donor an immense happiness of saving someone's life.
