The separatist leaders Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik, who are jointly spearheading the agitation, have also rechristened the ongoing unrest from "protest against civilian killings" to "protest programme for right to self-determination".
They have called for pasting of poster letters to legislators and ministers asking them to resign from their posts.
As per the schedule, the seapratists plan to hold 'referendum congregations' at all Tehsil and Block headquarters on August 22 followed by women's protests in the afternoon a day later.
