Septuagenarian farmer killed in clash over land-dispute in UP

A 70-year-old farmer was killed when two groups of locals clashed over a land-related dispute in Aami Saraf Saif Khan village in Patti area here, police said today.
The victim, identified as Videshi Yadav (70), died yesterday on the spot after being hit by a stick when two groups clashed over land dispute, they said.
On the complaint of victim's son, an FIR was registered against Matapher Yadav and two others in this regard, they said.
Efforts are on to arrest the accused, they said, adding that an investigation is underway.
