Sesame oil weakens on adequate supply

Barring a fall in sesame oil on adequate supplies against reduced offtake, other edible oils held steady at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market here today in thin trade.
Non-edible oils also moved in a tight range in scattered deals and settled at last levels.
Traders said reduced offtake against sufficient stocks position mainly kept pressure on sesame oil prices.
In the national capital, sesame mill delivery oil prices fell by Rs 100 to Rs 8,700 per quintal.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per quintal):
Oilseeds: Mustard seed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.

Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,140-1,250.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,700, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,300-1,375, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,100, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,225-1,275, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,275-1,375, sesame mill delivery 8,700, Soyabean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 6,800, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 6,500, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,200, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,350, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,200, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,000 and Coconut (per tin) 2,650-2,700.

Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,800, Castor 9,650-9,750, Neem 5,350-5,450.
