Seven of family killed in van-bus collision

Seven members of a family, including three women, were killed today when their van collided with a government bus at Dharapuram in nearby Tirupur district.
The victims were residents of MGR Colony in Tirupur andreturning from Andipatti after attending a condolence function, police said.
The bus was going to Madurai from Tirupur, while the vanwas coming from the opposite direction, when the accident occurred at Rangepalayam junction, police said.
