Sports For All (SFA) Tuesday announced it has partnered with the Abhinav Bindra Targeting Performance Centre (ABTPC) and the Inspire Institute of Sports (IIS) to scout promising athletes and nurture them.

The tie-up was announced by SFA founder Rishikesh Joshi at a select media briefing here.

As part of the partnership, IIS will provide five scholarship programmes lasting 1-2 weeks for deserving athletes.

Joshi said IIS will scout talent from primarily five sports -- judo, wrestling, boxing, athletics and football -- and scholarships will be awarded accordingly.

Coaches from IIS will come during the Mumbai leg which begins from December 3 and scout the talent, Joshi added.

Apart from this, it was announced that a specially designed 7-day high performance camp and special boot camp for athletes who are willing to train in athletics, judo, boxing and wrestling has also been designed at the IIS facility and SFA medal winners can avail the facility at subsidised rates.

Joshi said ABTPC will provide SFA athletes with scholarships and a month-long training and recovery programme.

SFA is touted as the country's largest professional inter-school professional championship.
