"I could not see the whole film after shooting. But everybody including Kaushikda were egging me on with encouraging words. Now once I watch the entire film at the premier I am disappointed with my performance. I feel in certain scenes my expressions were not the way I desired, may be I could not explore the full range of my actng skill," the Chalo Let's Go actor, told PTI after the screening of Shabdo here.
"His expressions, the spark in his eyes, the passion he shows on the screen and the apparent unfamiliarity of the audience with his face. All these helped him to get into the skin of my foley character Tarak and I doubt if any other eastablished charactersa would fail to pull that off," Kaushik said.
"My German foley artiste In Hanuman.Dot.Com, who virtually recreated the soundscape of the icy European outdoor in the movie transporting the audience to that environ would similarly devote hours to experiment with a typical sound note like the willow leaves blowing in wind. They are aesthetically inclined persons who don't know and understand anything else in life. Tarak in Shabdo reminds me of him.. Hats off to Ritwik," director Gourab Pandey said about the unreleased Prosenjit-starrer shot in Iceland.
"We need more such films on those who never get any single column in papers or one second footage in tv channel. In Europe and Hollywood there are films on various personalities, involved with the making, not always the actors and directors and other celebrity figures." he said.
Director Aparna Sen said, "Brilliant idea, brilliant execution.
