Shahrukh to address IIM Bangalore's alumni leadership conclave

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan will deliver a keynote address at the 'IIMBUE', the IIM Bangalore Alumni Association's first-ever Alumni Leadership Conclave, to be held in Bengaluru in December.
The summit would be held in IIM Bangalore from December 11 to 13 and will bring IIMB alumni together with leading thinkers from fields of business, sports, entertainment etc.
Interactive sessions, fire side chats, meaningful connections with casual catch ups and visiting the old haunts are on the agenda, Saif Qureishi, president and Harish Mittal, convenor of the Leadership Summit told reporters here today.
Shah Rukh Khan will open the event on December 11 where he will give the keynote address.
Other speakers include Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, Biocon's Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, IT Czar Azim Premji, former cricketer Anil Kumble, actor Kabir Bedi, Vijay Amritraj and others who will speak on Leadership in their respective fields.
"IIMB celebrated its 42nd Foundation Day recently and has been grooming business leaders from 1976. It also boasts of producing the maximum number of start-ups from amongst all the IIMs," they said.
Againt this backdrop, over 1000 members and guests, from all over the world, are expected to gather in Bengaluru for the event.
'IIMBUE' would be a platform for the IIMB Alumnus to get together once a year to network, imbibe and share at a global level. The demography of the alumni attending the event would be CEOs, CXOs, senior management of corporates, and owners of their own ventures and businesses, they said.
Qureishi said, "We have taken the next big step of getting the alumni to come together and connect at a mega forum, once a year, at IIMBUE." Harish Mittal, said, "Through this Leadership Summit, we aim to enhance the engagement of alumni with the Institute, reconnect with the IIMB community and provide a thought leadership platform for alumni to engage with many great minds.
