The two leaders agreed that all shades of opinion should be taken into account while finding a solution to the present unrest in the valley, a Left party member said.
The two leaders discussed the problem over the phone, a day after Yadav reportedly had a discussion with BJP's Yashwant Sinha here on the same issue.
"Yadav and Raja opined that the issue, being sensitive, cannot be left to the PDP-BJP combine in the state. It is the Centre which should take the initiative in this connection," the member said.
The leaders are planning to organise a conclave on the issue in the national capital later this month, the Left party member said.
