The 37-year-old music composer took to Twitter to share his excitement with his fans.
"My mentor, my super star, my father played with me for the first time on stage last night. Epic! #VSUS," he wrote.
So far, it has been a year of many firsts for Shekhar as he also made his acting debut in Sonam Kapoor-starrer "Neerja" besides lending his voice for a soulful number "Gehra Ishq".
The composer is the part of famous music directing duo Vishal-Shekhar and together they have worked in hit Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Marathi films.
