Slogans like 'Vande Mataram' were raised during the rally last night in which several youths participated.
A public meeting was held later where the youths supported the Centre's decision to carry out the surgical strikes on terror launch pads in PoK.
A participant Nasir Daruwala said, "I pay homage to 19 jawans, who were killed in the Uri attack on September 18. I also congratulate our brave jawans for the successful operation."
Another participant Gaurav Upasani said, "With the action, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given citizens a reason to celebrate 'Dussehra' 12 days in advance."
