The film will see Sidharth, 29, shedding his guy-next-door image and exploring his dark side for the first time.
It also marks the return of Mohit after the success of 'Aashiqui 2' last year and stars Shraddha Kapoor in the female lead.

'Ek Villain' has been produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of her production house Balaji Motion Pictures.

'Ek Villain' is slated to release on June 27.
