In a first, a Sikh has been appointed as the public relations officer (PRO) to the governor of Pakistan's Punjab province, it was announced on Friday.
The announcement of the appointment of Pawan Singh Arora was made by Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar.
"For the first in history of Governor House, Lahore, first Sikh Public Relations Officer, Pawan Singh Arora, has assumed charge as PRO to Governor, Punjab," Sarwar tweeted.
