Sikkim urban bodies election held peacefully

Voting for the 53 wards in the Sikkim Urban Local Bodies election was held peacefully in all the 94 polling stations in four districts of the state today, officials said.
The fight for the elections is confined between candidates of the ruling Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) and opposition Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM).
The results of the poll will be declared on October 15, they said.
