Former SIMI leader Safdar Nagori, members Shibli Pervez, Mohammad Ali, and another accused were produced before Additional Sessions Judge D K Nagle here yesterday amid tight security, for the trial on the charge of "disrupting communal harmony" in the town.
They admitted to have visited the town in 2008, held a meeting and distributed pamphlets with inflammatory writing with the intention of instigating communal trouble.
