SIMI terrorists escape case: 3 persons to be produced in court

Three persons arrested in connection with the escape of some SIMI terrorists will be produced in a court on Monday, police said.
A father-son duo identified as Raes and Abdullah and a woman Husaina were arrested on Friday for allegedly helping some SIMI terrorists escape after a blast on September 12 in Mohalla Jatan here, according to the prosecution.
The police today had asked for a remand for the three persons and Chief Judicial Magistrate Nikunj Mittal put the hearing date for Monday.
According to SSP Kalpana, three SIMI terrorists were staying near a room where the blast had taken place and their partners were staying as tenants in the house of Raes, where Hussaina was also staying along with her sister.
Police had found a detonator and three dry batteries and one mobile from Raes' possession while a detonator, a mobile and a cash worth Rs 2 lakh was found from Husaina.
