Media mogul Simon Cowell predicted the hit boyband One Direction would split eventually.
However, the 54-year-old 'X Factor' boss, wants the band consisting of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson to stay together for long, reported E!Online.
"Eventually they probably will split and up and maybe want to have their own careers. The choice is theirs, and we've got the opportunity to do both," Cowell said.
"But from what I hear, they're really enjoying what they're doing and we don't feel there's anything seriously wrong here. They're getting more time off and I hope they stay a band for a long time," he added.
The band, which came into formation on 'The X Factor' in 2010, recently topped the list of the richest British celebrities under the age of 30, with combined estimated earnings of USD 95.70 million for the past year.
