The Punjabi remake of "Singham" is all set to be released next year, with Parmish Verma in the lead.
Actor Ajay Devgn, who starred in the Hindi version of the 2010 Tamil film "Singam" featuring Suriya, announced the news on Twitter on his 49th birthday.
"Punjab da sher (Tiger of Punjab)," wrote the actor and tagged Parmish, and producers of the film Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.
Ajay, who is presenting the movie, also shared the poster.
Parmish also took to social media to thank the actor for the opportunity.
"Dreams Do Come true, Thank you @ajaydevgn sir, it's an honour, and a Very Very Happy Birthday. #Blessed, (sic)" he tweeted.
