Situation in Sonkh returning to normalcy

The situation in Sonkh town is slowly limping back to normalcy, a day after a group of people indulged in arson and rioting over the alleged eloping of a girl with a boy of another community.
Police said that eight persons involved in the incident have been arrested and hunt is on for 13 named persons and over 200 others.
"Special vigil is being maintained on Rajisthan border and every person coming from that side is questioned," SSP Manjil Saini said.
He also said that Magorra SHO Vinod Mishra has been shifted to Lines, and has been replaced by Bablu Verma.
The market of Sonkh also opened however there has been no trace of the girl who eloped, police said.
