Six army personnel injured in ambush

Heavily armed militants opened fire at a convoy of army vehicles in the remote forest area of Laikul village injuring six army jawans of 9 Madras Regiment, official sources said.

The injured jawans have been admitted to a hospital and the condition of four was stated to be critical, sources said.

The identity of the militant outfit was yet to be ascertained.
