Six family members charred to death

Six members of a family including three children were charred to death in a fire caused due to short circuit at their home in Basal Gujar village near here.
According to the police, Hiralal was staying in the house with his wife Babita, mother Rambeti and three children Jatin, Kajal and Renu in Basal Gujar village near Pinahat town of the district, 60 km from here.
Due to dust storm in the region two high tension wires intertwine causing a spark, which led to a massive fire in which Hiralal's entire house was burnt down and all six members perished last night, they said.

The neighbours could not control the fire and informed the police and fire department.
A fire brigade managed to put out the fire around midnight police said.
