Six govt school teachers suspended in Kishtwar

Six teachers of two government schools in Kishtwar district were today suspended for being absent from their duties.
On the directions of Chief Education Officer (CEO), Kishtwar, principal of Government Higher Secondary School in Sarthal today conducted surprise checks at various schools in the district, an official spokesman said.
He said that during the visit to primary school in Dharanji and upper primary school in Gamrah, four teachers were placed under suspension for being absent from duty without seeking prior permission and sanction of leave.
Two teachers posted at middle school in Suldha were also found absent from duty and were suspended, the spokesman said.
