potential dacoity by arresting six men in Malegaon Camp area and recovering two country-made pistols and three rounds from them.
The incident occurred last night when during patrolling, police spotted the six persons moving in a suspicious manner near a temple in the area.
"We learnt during investigation that they were planning a dacoity in the town," said Additional Superintendent of Police, Rakesh Ola.
They were produced before a court today which remanded them in police custody till Friday.
