Six nabbed for shoving cop

The six, who hail from Andhra Pradesh, have been booked by Chikkajala police on the charge of obstructing a government official from discharging his duty, police sources said.

They were arrested on the basis of the complaint filed the SI, Ramachandra Bhajantri.

"The accused, who claim to be supporters of MLA from Andhra Pradesh, Madhusudan Gupta, were proceeding in their vehicle to visit the legislator who is under treatment in a super- speciality hospital here when they were stopped by the PSI for overspeeding", police said.
