Six Padra municipality members resign to support Patel stir

At least six councillors of Padra in Vadodara district resigned today in support of ongoing agitation by Patidar community for reservation.
While five out of them belonged to Vikas Party one to the BJP.
"I have accepted their resignations," said civic council chief Pratikaben Gandhi.
In the 27-member body, the BJP has 15 members and Congress 5, while six seats are vacant.
