According to SP (crime) Mansharam Gautam, six members of the gang were yesterday arrested from the Chapar police station area during checking.
The arrested gang members were identified as Nazir, Babluddin, Dilshad, Shakib, Mohammed Ali and Salman, he said.
Looted property including ornaments, an SUV and four arms were recovered from them.
The gang was active in highways in UP and Uttarakhand.
